Some songs I’m able to present are so individually remarkable and deeply soul-stirring, it feels awkward to write about them. I think Bobby Nourmand‘s newest minor house music opus, “Prisoner” can get asses out of seats to dance as easily as Laurent John‘s impassioned vocal performance can cause tears to well up in eyes. The beneficiary of accolades from electronic music press like Mixmag and a mention in DJ Mag, Nourmand’s latest seems to breathe life into their notions of his rising star.
